Whenever water damage occurs, clean-up is a multi-step process. From drying the property, removing contents, repairing the area and finally, remodeling. This case study documents the process completed by one contractor for seamless construction and renovation: Restoration 1 of West Denver.

Project: Water damage to this property was significant as a result of a leak originating from the master bathroom but also leaking through the ceiling to the kitchen on the floor below.

Problem. As illustrated by the photos above, Restoration 1 of West Denver had to inspect all moisture levels – which is done with professional meters and thermal tools. High capacity pumps and vacuums remove the water fast, allowing the ability to save contents, if possible. After dehumidification, we apply sanitizing and odor control techniques and then begin repairs, all while documenting the entire process for insurance reasons.

Solution. Solving the water problem is one step, but property owners don’t really feel that the disaster is over until they are back in the space affected. With that in mind, our remodeling crew quickly follows the restoration technicians. Here, our job becomes a matter of listening closely with our clients, developing a plan of renovation that will allow the owners back in the facility with less stress and anxiety.

Results. As noted by the photographs above, the restoration of the master bathroom was detailed, using high quality materials and superb design. In this case we worked with an interior designer hired by the customer. Restoration 1 of West Denver will remodel to the client’s expectations – that is, from a basic remodel to very high-end customization.
