Before contacting Restoration 1 of West Denver, this customer worked with another contractor to start a remodel of the home. The contractor began demolition but did not perform any asbestos testing. The owners decided on their own to order asbestos testing and found that their house had a major asbestos spill.
Project. After the discovery, the customer contracted us to take care of the spill and clean it up.
Problem. An asbestos spill can be harmful to the health of residents. Immediate cleanup is mandatory. The Restoration 1 of West Denver Contents Team was called in to assess the damage.
Solution. Luckily, our technicians are asbestos certified, and as a result, were able to salvage some of the most valuable or sentimental content. Instead of disposing all of the contents, our expert team was able to pinpoint and save the most cost-effective content. The photos above illustrate some of the spill and consequent cleanup.

The customer was able to hire one team to restore the contents, clean the major asbestos spill, prevent any health concerns, and complete any abatement in areas that the contractor had not yet demolished.
